2006 Global Accountability Report PDF Print E-mail

Main findings:

The Report reveals a mixed picture: disaggregated scores show that no one single sector is all good or all bad. INGOs are top in participation, IGOs lead in transparency and TNCs score better in complaint and response.

      2006 GAR briefing

On average, the scores for transparency and complaint and response mechanisms are much lower than those for evaluation and participation.

The bad news is that much work remains to be done in all sectors.  The good news is that some of the organisations assessed in the 2006 Global Accountability Report have made good progress in accountability and show that reform is doable.
