- Summary: The ISO 26000 Social Responsibility Working Group is developing an International Standard providing guidelines for social responsibility (concepts, definitions and methods of evaluation) which will be published in 2010. This initiative is not a certification, but rather a voluntary guidance standard for public, private and non-governmental organisations. The goal of this work is to develop an international consensus on what social responsibility is, and distill best practice and implementation techniques.
