  • Summary: The purpose of the NGO Benchmarking Certification Audit is to provide an independent assessment of NGO's compliance level with internationally accepted best practices. It includes 101 objectively verifiable indicators regrouped into different perspectives: Dimensions of best practices, Contributor's expectations, Management components and Continuous improvement.
    Key features are: 1. Each criteria refers to a specific risk that needs to be identified and addressed by the NGO; 2. Compliance is measured through a rating system which enables to provide an overall score as well as scores for each Dimension of best practices and thus to identify corrective / preventive actions. Rating also enables to compare various entities as well as measure progress over time
