Assessment

This initiative, which brings together civil society organisations as well as lobbying firms and EU academics, provides an important example of using CSO self-regulation for the purpose of encouraging government regulation. ALTER-EU is working to raise standards among its members in the hopes that these standards will eventually be required of all EU lobbyists.
