- Monitoring mechanism: Commitment only
- Description of sanctioning mechanism: CRINGO members may be dropped from participation in the network for violating the Code of Conduct. A decision on dropping of an NGO from the Network is made at the local NGO meeting by 2/3 of votes. Decisions on excluding an NGO from the Network is directed to the CRINGO Coordination Board.
Assessment
The CRINGO Code of Conduct focuses primarily on CSO coordination in the delivery of refugee and IDP services. The Code serves to enable CSOs in the Caucuses to work together more effectively and represents an important example of cross-border CSO collaboration in raising norms and standards.
