Regional initiatives
Africa
There have been several self-regulatory initiatives developed at regional level within the CSO sector in Africa, although not all of these initiatives are currently active. These initiatives include a sub-regional code of ethics and good practice for NGOs in Central and West Africa, a code of conduct for women's organisations across the continent, and an awards scheme recognising innovation in CSO practice in Southern Africa. If you are aware of any other initiatives, including those in development, please contact us so that we may update our database.
