The Potsdam Conference, May 2008
In May 2008 the AGCC, and the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), supported by the European Environment Agency (EEA) and others, organised a High Level EU-India Conference in Potsdam. The aim of the conference was to discuss cooperation between Europe and India on climate change and sustainable development. The Potsdam Seminar brought together 71 distinguished Indians and Europeans representing the highest levels of government, and explored issues of equity, emissions trading, financing development and institutional arrangements.
